squid game !!
i love squid game. i watched season 1 in 2024 and i really enjoyed it. i like the themes the series touch on, like morality, human nature, socioeconomic inequality, and desperation. the characters are well written and the acting is amazing (in my opinion. which is always right). at first i didnt want to watch season 2, since i feel like second seasons are never as good as the first but my friend told me there was a character with the same name as me in it so i thought "oh well, i guess i'll watch it." oh boy, was i wrong before. the second season is actually my favourite out of all 3 right now. i love the new characters and cast, especially Roh Jae-won! hes one of my favourite actors in the world. anyway, the music is really good, the games are interesting, and again, the acting is amazing. if i keep talking, i think i might fill up this entire website so i'll stop now.

i love hyun-ju so much. in my opinion, they are the best character in squid game. i think i could write an entire paragraph about her and still have points left over. shes so nice to everyone and cares about her friends so much. I LOVE HER SMILE SO SO SO MUCH OH MY GOD >< shes also so good at the games bro, she was literally so good she took down not one but TWO ARMED red team players unarmed. i think its really cool how she can change from vulnerable to dangerous in seconds. hyun-ju is so cute and silly and sweet and brave and humble and amazing
IM NOT BIASED OKAY??? im not putting him this high just because we share a name i swear. i genuinely think he was a really well written character. if i was in squid game, id probably be just like him (at least him in season 2). i believe he really is a nice person, even if he didn't take se-mi's hand in mingle. i think he just wanted to survive. i think him in season 3 had the biggest impact on me aside from gi-hun. i cried every single time he had a hallucination. i dont really know why, it just hurt. also overall i think he's really cute and has a sweet smile like hyun-ju :)
i think this one is pretty self-explanatory. gi-hun literally sacrificed himself for a baby. not gonna lie, if i was there instead of him, i would have drop kicked the fuck out of that baby. anyway, i think he's pretty similar to hyun-ju. they both care about their friends a lot and try their best to help those they value. the only thing i didnt like about him was how he killed dae-ho, because im not completely sure that the revolt was his fault.
mi-nyeo i think gets overlooked often. i know a lot of people consider her annoying, but i like her because she's actually pretty smart. she thought of using her lighter in dalgona, and helped deok-su pass so she could join his team and get "protection". i also like that she was the one who ended up killing him, like she said she would if he betrayed her. also she was actually really funny in my opinion for the entire series lol (also kind of irrelevant but her actress is so pretty irl)
